I thought I was going to do a small, for some immediate gratification ... So I started the sweet 'Gobble Thanksgiving Pillow/Tuck' by 'Country Rustic Primitives'. It is not difficult but I decided to stitch it on OSNABURG. This soon became a challenge for me. I am sure anyone else would have just whipped right through it.
With all my improvising, better known as mistakes and errors, I am pleased as punch with it. However, I doubt I will ever use osnaburg again...unless my vision improves and I know that will not happen any day soon.
I've shown it on the backing material and you can see it is taller than it is wide

... not at all like Jenny's photo.
Still, I am a happy camper.

Now back to business and I am welcoming this with open arms.
Hellooo, Heloise Williams ...
Here I am as of today's date and going for the finish...
Hope your weather is warming up as ours is in the upper 90's ... Yaaaa, finally some warmth (Heat).
Have a great weekend,
Peace too all,
Barb
I love how nubby your osnaburg is. I found it a little harder to follow the weave but I love the final look and will give it another try. You did a great job.
ReplyDeleteOh how I love turkeys....yours is handsome indeed!

Oh Barb, I love stitching on osnaburg! Your finish is lovely! Country Rustic Primitives has wonderful designs! If you aren't happy with the osnaburg, I believe you can substitute 36-count for it. Heloise is looking good : )
