A Folk Art Portrait rendition ~ Mary Briggs

Just finished my rendition of this Folk Art Portrait
by an unknown artist of Mary Briggs ~ 1840.
It has been painted on an 8" x 10", Acid Free,
Double Primed Canvas Board.

Also, I painted the Faux Grained Frame,
which was made by one of my friends and her hubs,
Joanne and Frank who live nearby in Victorville, CA.

Of coarse the VFA watermark is not a part of the painting.

I truly enjoyed doing the profile of this precious little girl.
Now I am looking and searching to do another.
I really do not know why it took me so long to bite the bullet.
 BUT,
Now I Gots to finish my 4th X-stitch Santa Ornament from
the 'Prairie Schoolers' Father Christmas collection
with 4 more to do after this one.
I am determined to have all 8 done by November.

You always do such a wonderful job on your paintings.
You should do more and offer them for sale. =)
