Back to my Punch Needle for a little change of pace.
Here's a sketch of my design that has been inspired by several seen on that naughty 'Pinterest'.
It measures approximately 4" x 12"... a nice size that will eventually be framed for our entry way.
So far I am pleased with the progress..
A closer look at the pineapple for which I used
a Valdani varigated floss.
Am using stitch depth #2 for the letters, pineapple and leaves.
All the rest will be #1 setting...
I like the subtle interest it provides..something like embossing.
Will be spending some time on my hooked rug next...
as soon as I can decide on a color for the wool strips &
because I am sooo unpredictably impulsive.

Love this design! And, the use of different loop heights definitely adds to the appeal! Pinterest is one of those little guilty pleasures that I can't seem to stay away from... and usually all of the inspiration really does lead to something creative getting done... eventually! :-) Enjoy the days and be happy! :-)
