It is finished and framed.
~ HERE IT IS ~
It is a SAL pattern from "Blackbird Designs."
I started this back in June...working on it
in between other endeavors.
It has been aged to give it a tyme worn look.
I love strawberries, anyway I can get 'em.
There is only 5 on here
but they caught my attention.
but they caught my attention.
I laced it to foam core board.
Purchased an unfinished custom made frame.
Gave it the faux tortoise grain finish.
Tried not to get too many reflections but
that is almost impossible for me.
Just another of my updates.
Thanks so much for visiting.

Thank you Julie & Lauren...
ReplyDeleteYour wonderful comments mean a lot to me, coming from two very talented and special ladies.
The weather here has been perfect...in the 80's, next to no humidity and subtle breezes. Just the way I like it ... some wet stuff would be nice.
I learned how to 'Faux finish' being a member of the 'National Society of Tole and Decorative Painters', years ago. I was lucky to have earned the 'Certified Decorative Artist' (CDA), title in the Stroke category.
I am enjoying other interests now that I have retired ... this means 'play time' for me, no more working. Yaaa, I am LOVING it.
Peace and enjoy the day as always,
Barb
