Just finished the adorable Punch Needle design from Brenda Gervais...
entitled: The First Thanksgiving
gave it a faux grained finish ...
just as was shown in the pattern.
I have found it is really nice to complete a project
between others that are more time consuming.
between others that are more time consuming.
It's a feeling of accomplishment ...
more like instant gratification.
I am pleased with it and will be ready for
"Thanksgiving ~ 2015"
Hope you enjoyed your visit.
Peace and Blessings to all,
Barb
Love the finish and the hornbook! Great job!
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful! I love punch needle but can't stop the finished projects from "bowling" or "cupping" in some way : (
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies ... appreciate your comments.
DeleteDon't know about the cupping Shirlee, I am new at this stuff. I do use Elmers fabric glue on the back side once I have pressed it from the back side. Never thought I would ever use glue but in my case they will NEVER become heirlooms. Soooo I do what works and this does help.
Hi Barb!
ReplyDeleteYou're ahead of the game and it's beautiful!
