Strawberry Season Sampler
by The Sampler House
I Love Strawberry motifs as well as
enjoying their delectable flavor.
This Sampler is finished...
I even lace mounted it to a foam core board.
This is the second time I have ever done this and I do not think it is supposed to be very pretty, which it definitely is NOT.

It is surely OOAK and very much modified as
I could not get the 'verse' to fit.
After much fuddling I decided to eliminate it altogether.

Next...to get it framed.

I think your sampler is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

Hello, Barbara, what a lovely sampler you have created. I have loved strawberries in samplers, too. I haven't heard of mounting
on foam core board. Is that something that
you thought of? I remember reading that we're supposed to use acid-free mountings on needlework so that the fibers don't disintegrate over time. Would this method
keep it protected? Thanks for sharing.
Warm Regards,

Thank you both ...
This is mounted on 'Acid Free Foam Core'. I purchased it from Tom, owner of American Art & Frame Company here in Apple Valley. He is experienced with conservative framing techniques. I simply spared him the trouble of the 'lace style' mounting. Wished I could say yes, it was my idea. But it has been around for some time.
Can't wait to get it framed and hung...
Warm Regards with much Peace & Blessings, Barb
